Mr. Curry has earned a noted reputation as a dance educator.  This is supported by the number of his
students who have been accepted into prestigious academies, apprenticeships, universities, companies
and/or gone on to professional careers.   His students have danced with American Ballet Theater, New
York City Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Columbia City Ballet, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, national
and international tours, and on Broadway.  Mr. Curry’s resident faculty positions include the Boys Choir
of Harlem, The Ailey School, and the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute.  His collegiate appointment in the
undergraduate drama department at New York University utilized his strong skills both as an
administrator and successful ballet instructor to implement emerging programs.  He has also taught at
numerous institutions and festivals around the world including the Virginia School of the Arts, Columbia
Ballet School, Regional Dance America, Moose Jaw Festival of Dance and the British Columbia Dance
Festival.

Why take classes in the
summer?
Summer is a great the time to build on a
year's work -- or to try something new. Most
dancers are relaxed, without school work and
other commitments. Time and again, we see
dancers make tremendous progress in the six
weeks of our summer program.
It's also a great time for young dancers to
begin their training.

We try to structure our schedule so that we
don't interfere with family vacations and other
special events. This year, our regular classes
start July 5 and continue through Aug. 12,
Monday through Thursday.  By not having
Friday classes, we give families the chance to
take long weekends without having dancers
miss class.

If we've missed a class you'd like to take,
please let us know!
Strong dancers = strong bodies, strong minds, strong character.

training this
