We rocked at IDC!
Visions Dance Company earned nine platinums, five high golds,
and five golds at the IDC dance competition. Every one of our
soloists qualified for the IDC national finals. Francesca Benedetto
won top junior soloist; William Kana won top senior male
soloist; and Heather Stokes won the "Ultimate Challenge" award
-- the competition's top solo award -- for Paquita. The
competition was so much fun, and it was the first time many of
our junior company members took part in a competition.
The Pulse
We entered the world of Dave Scott, Laurie Ann Gibson, Shane Sparks, Brian Friedman, Cris Judd, and Mia Michaels
for an eye-opening weekend in Nashville. Our company performed "Gathering," choreographed by Terrance
Henderson.
William Kana and
Kirby Aull perform in
"Gatheing."
